SEA Environmental Decisions

SEA Environmental Decisions provides technical and policy support and input on issues of marine and freshwater environmental management and research to an international group of clients in business, academia and government. Particular fields of expertise include basin scale assessment and management frameworks; applying DPSIR models to complex environmental and environmental security problems; in situ and on site sensor validation; multi-instrument integrated field studies; field study design and synthesis; PAH biodegradation study design; freshwater, marine and sediment environmental assessment, management and policy; technology assessment, integration and transfer; staff training; project management; and marketing of technical services. We play an integrating role in complex, interdisciplinary programs in which basic and applied research must be brought together, critically assessed and then linked to environmental policy and applications. A particular speciality is providing cross-disciplinary and cross-organisational links, bridging the gaps between scientists, engineers, policy makers and the public. As such, much of our work is carried out in collaborative networks with other consultancies, universities and government agencies.
